CMS, Sunshine Health, and CDC+ fully cover music therapy services once a week for specific diagnoses, like autism and PTSD.

All music therapy is considered “out of network” in the state of Florida.
However, we’ve had luck with Blue Cross and Cigna who consider music therapy on a case by case basis. They require parents to pay a Superbill and turn in receipts to Blue Cross and Cigna for reimbursement or counting towards their deductible.
